Last project of the year days away
Happy Fall everyone! We are just days out from participating in our last volunteer project of the year. A team of Forest Service historic preservation carpenters will begin work on the Snyder Guard Station residence roof on Monday, October 19, and we will join them on Tuesday, October 20.
Fortunately, our primary duties will be "go-fer" and clean-up. As weather permits we will also do some station winterizing, painting, amenities inventories etc.
The Forest Service has a crew of one, so if you have the chance to join us, please do.
We will meet at Snyder, on the Moyie River Road, at 9 a.m. October 20. You will need work gloves and boots. It will likely be cold so come prepared for that. Bring LUNCH!!!!
If you have a chance, please let me know that you can join us. (hartpathart@gmail.com)
As always, thank you so much for your support. Your generosity made it possible to purchase materials and to shoot for success on this substantial project. We will add pictures to our website later this year. Good cheer!
Pat
